What an Odyssey this month has been. It’s been What an Odyssey this month has been. It’s been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, with small projects as well as big projects. Rain decided to challenge us at every step, and engine and generator services nearly broke us (literally). Then, just a day before splash, I (Dee) managed to gracefully fall off a ladder and injure myself. Cue Ian stepping into superhero mode—handling everything solo while I ended up in the hospital. The next day, he tackled (almost) everything alone again, with a little help from some amazing friends during splash day. Huge thanks to @ccbmgrenada for making room for us while Ian continues to finish the sails—again, solo—while I sit (and lie) with my leg elevated, feeling frustrated and helpless. I’m kicking myself (not literally, of course) for getting injured, but I’m also in awe of Ian and the support we’ve had from friends. 🌴 Three weeks in Grenada! 🌴 We’ve had one 🌴 Three weeks in Grenada! 🌴 We’ve had one full week on the boat, and thanks to some amazing friends, we now have a bit of A/C to keep us sane in this heat. 😅 Feels like we’ve been running in circles these last two weeks, chasing down repair issues and making endless trips to the chandlery—buy this, return that, repeat. To add to the mix, Drofn hurt her rotator cuff, so her right arm was out of commission for a day (cue laughter 😂). And, of course, the tropical rain has been relentless, slowing down any projects we try to tackle. We’re a little behind schedule, but we’ll make it work, like always. 💪 Some highlights: we helped friends launch their boat, raised our Panama Posse flag and found our sticker at a local rum bar… somehow! Can’t say I remember putting it up there, but that rum punch is no joke! 🥴🍹 Here’s to keeping it all afloat, come rain or shine!

One year ago today, on November 5th, we slipped ou One year ago today, on November 5th, we slipped our lines and set sail into the Atlantic. Three ladies, two gentlemen, and a dream of crossing an ocean. Alongside 95 other boats, we left Europe behind and, after 16 unforgettable days at sea, arrived in the Caribbean. 🌊✨ We faced high waves, squalls, cakes, English breakfasts, burgers, long sleeps, and a few sunburns along the way!
