“A Tourist Tale of Triumph, Pools, and Provisions”

Greetings, fellow earthlings! Guess who’s back? That’s right, the prodigal traveler Ian has returned, and the gang is ready to hit the tourist scene with a vengeance! After a mere 10 days of hiatus, we decided to unleash our inner explorers and embrace the wild world of Grand Canary. Buckle up, dear readers, as we take you on a journey filled with grand views, quirky dips, and some serious provisioning maneuver.

Day One: Mounted and Grandma’s Kitchen

Our grand tour kicked off with a daring drive around Grand Canary, conquering mountens and stumbling upon historic wonders. If you’ve never been to Grandma’s home-cooked meal equivalent, fear not! We stumbled upon a quaint spot that served up flavours richer than your wildest dreams. Highly recommended for those seeking a taste of nostalgia, or just anyone with a hankering for a fabulous lunch.

Day Two: Pool Hopping Extravaganza

Day two called for a rendezvous with nature, specifically the island’s natural pools. Some were dreamy, some were packed with people (because who doesn’t love a good pool party), and some seemed like the set of an action movie – too dangerous to enter. But fear not, intrepid readers, we found the Goldilocks of pools. Perfect for a quick dip and cooldown, especially when the weather is playing a cruel game of ‘Let’s see how hot we can make it.’ Note to future Grand Canary enthusiasts: Seek out those pools and give them a splash – you won’t regret it.

Day Three: Tourist Extravaganza with great friends.

Feeling particularly sociable, we roped in Chris and Laura for a day of touristy delights. a dune-driven escapade, Our adventure took us to lunch at the mysterious Puerto De Mogán (trust us, it’s fantastic), and a stop at a local fishing village where we concluded the day with a feast of local tapas, laughter echoing through the air, and a collective realisation that we were, indeed, living our best lives.

Day Four: Provisions and Price Savvy Moves

With a looming Atlantic trip on the horizon, day four saw us engage in a thrilling quest for dry goods provisioning. Grand Canary might be paradise, but it’s also known for making a dent in your wallet. So, armed with our newfound wisdom, we stocked up for the impending Caribbean escapade. Because who says you can’t be a savvy shopper and a sun-soaked explorer simultaneously?
